Alan Edwards
Chief Executive Officer and Director

Alan leads the Oracle Mining operations team in the re-start of the Oracle Ridge Copper Mine. Alan has three decades of diverse mining industry experience. His experience includes VP and Senior VP of Surface Mines at P.T. Freeport Indonesia's Grasberg Mine, and as Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer of Apex Silver Mines Corporation, where he was responsible for the engineering, construction and commissioning of the San Cristobal mine in Bolivia. He served as CEO and President of Copper One Inc. and as CEO and President of Frontera Copper Corp. He is the former VP of Technical Services and Project Development and former VP of Operations of Kinross Gold Corporation. Alan holds a BSc in Mining Engineering and an MBA in Finance from the University of Arizona.

 

 

 

Rod Campbell
President

Rod leads corporate strategy at Oracle Mining; evaluating and assessing strategic opportunities as well as planning, directing, and coordinating capital market activities. Prior to joining Oracle Mining, he led the investment banking team and held the position of President and CEO at Clarus Securities Inc., one of Canada's leading independent investment banks, focused on mining, oil & gas and special situations. During his tenure at Clarus the team completed transactions with a value in excess of $10 billion. Mr. Campbell is an exceptionally effective financial professional with significant private and public company experience. He obtained a B. Comm. and B.A. from the University of Alberta and an MBA from the University of British Columbia.

 

 

 

Tiffany Grenke, CA
Chief Financial Officerr

Tiffany is a Chartered Accountant and graduate of the University of British Columbia with significant experience in financial reporting (US & Canadian GAAP, IFRS). Tiffany articled with Deloitte & Touche LLP where she managed audit engagements for both Canadian and US listed public companies primarily in the mining and high tech industries. Prior to joining Oracle Mining Corp, Tiffany was the Corporate Controller for New Gold Inc. where she oversaw all aspects of external and internal financial reporting and completed the acquisition accounting and reporting for the three-way merger of New Gold Inc. with Metallica Resources Inc. and Peak Gold Ltd.

 

 

 

Jason Mercier
Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary

Jason has spent the past decade in Investor Relations, corporate and media relations and Corporate Secretary functions for public Canadian companies with $20M to $15B market capitalization. He has extensive experience with corporate governance issues, BCSC regulatory compliance, SEDAR/SEDI disclosure, corporate treasury and the corporate finance rules of the TSX Venture Exchange. Jason's background includes crisis and issues management at a boutique agency where he worked with senior executives in mining, investment, telecom, food, transportation, media, professional services, REIT and other sectors to respond to challenges and grow their respective businesses, as well as six years spent as a business reporter and editor.

 

 

 

Kevin Francis
Vice President Technical Services

Kevin is a Professional Geologist and NI 43-101 Qualified Person with extensive experience in due diligence and technical studies of advanced development projects and operating mines. He has 25 years of Mine Geology/Technical Studies management experience, developed with operating and developmental mining companies and with an internationally recognized mining consultancy. He's championed best practices in mine geology and resource estimation at base and precious metal mines worldwide. He holds a B.A. and MSc in geology from the University of Colorado.

 

 

 

Ronald Allum
General Manager

Mr. Allum has a BSc. in Mining Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and more than 33 years of operational experience in underground and surface mines. Most recently he worked for New Gold Inc. as Vice President Operations – Canada during the construction of and start-up of the New Afton underground block cave mine from 2007 to 2012. Prior to that, he worked 28 years at the San Manuel Mine in progressively more senior positions including General Mine Foreman, Construction Manager, Mine Manager and ultimately Vice President Operations.

 

 

 

Luis Saenz
Chief Geologist

Luis is a University of Chihuahua graduate with more than 20 years' experience in the mining industry. Luis joined Oracle Ridge Copper in August 2011 and leads the geological drilling data processing and tabulation, including completion of the three-dimensional model block, data base validation and mapping process leading to completion of a NI 43-101 compliant technical report. Luis' exploration and operational experience includes leading the geology team with Genco Resources at the La Guitarra Mine (increased M & I reserves and resources from 236,700 tons / 451,000 tons to 14,000,000 tons / 13,000,000 tons ; plus, production increased from 110 to 320 tpd). At Gammon Lake Resources (now AuRico Gold) as Chief Geologist he led the team in the successful exploration, development and construction of Ocampo Mine.

Chairman

Paul Eagland is a merchant banker with more than 25 years' experience in mining and transaction finance.

 

 

 

Cong Bin Liu
Director

Mr. Liu is the Chairman and CEO of RichStone Investment Co. Ltd. and founder of the RichStone Group. He holds a Degree in Petroleum Engineering from China Southwest Petroleum College and has worked as an engineer with Drilling Division 1 and the Drilling and Production Research Institute of Changqing Oilfield, CNPC.

 

 

 

Douglas B. Silver
Director

Mr. Silver has more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry, from exploration geologist to business development to raising capital. He holds a Master of Science in Economic Geology from the University of Arizona and founded and built International Royalty Corporation, a diversified mining royalty firm acquired by Royal Gold in 2010. Mr. Silver sits on the College of Engineering's Board of Advisors and is Chairman of the Lowell Institute of Minerals Resources at the University of Arizona. He is currently a Portfolio Manager with Red Kite Management (USA) LP.

 

 

 

Mark Forsyth
Lead Director

Mark has spent 25 years working in senior roles with commodity trading houses. He started his career in London in 1986 working for Marc Rich and also Pechiney World Trade. Since 2002, Mark has been based in Zug, Switzerland where he was Head Trader at Marc Rich & Co Investment AG for 12 years and also held senior positions with the Trafigura Group as senior trader in Luzern, Switzerland. In 2010 Mark formed a consulting corporation, Cliveden AG, with offices globally. He graduated from Middlesex University BA Hons, Humanities and Economics.

Gregory K. Liller
Director

Greg received his Bachelors in Geology from Western State College, Gunnison, Colorado in 1977 and has more than 30 years of experience in mineral exploration and mine development. He has played a key role in turning seven projects into producing mines and in his career has led to the delineation of more than 11 million ounces of gold and more than 500 million ounces of silver in reserves and resources. From 1993 to 2008, he served as an Officer and Director for a group of Canadian and Australian mining companies working in Mexico, including Gammon Lake, Mexgold, Santa Cruz and Genco. This work included the development and construction of the Lluvia de Oro Mine and the development of the Magistral Gold Mine.

 

 

 

Derek Price, MBA, CA
Director

Derek has spent most of his career in the mining industry. He was Vice President, Finance and CFO of molybdenum producer Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. from 2003 until his retirement in 2008. He was also Vice President, Finance and CFO of Glencairn Gold Corporation from 2003 to 2006. From 1996 to 2003, he was Vice President, Finance and CFO of Wheaton River Minerals Ltd (now Goldcorp Inc.). Prior to Wheaton River he spent four years as Vice President Finance of gold producer Granges Inc. and ten years in various roles with base metal producer Cominco Ltd. He is a member of both the Canadian and Australian Institutes of Chartered Accountants. Derek holds a MBA from Griffith University in Australia, and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in Canada.

 

 

 

Michel Tardif
Director

Michel is an investor involved in senior financial ventures and was formerly a financial analyst for brokerage firms in Montreal. He holds an MBA from HEC (L'Université de Montréal) with a concentration in finance.
